We hear NESN did offer another contract to Red Sox reporter Jenny Dell, who now lives with boyfriend (and third baseman) Will Middlebrooks. . . . A change of scenery might be good for NESN's latest hire, Elle Duncan, who's spent the last 10 years as a radio personality in Atlanta. In announcing Duncan is joining NESN as an anchor, host, and reporter, station VP Joseph Maar neglected to mention that she was charged with DUI and reckless driving after an Atlanta Hawks playoff game last spring. She apologized on air at 11 Alive, where she worked as traffic reporter. . . . Injured Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski won't be well enough to play until next season. But his torn ACL and MCL apparently won't prevent Gronk from appearing in the upcoming "Entourage" movie. The pass catcher's peeps told TMZ Sports that Gronk is set to shoot his scene in February — while the Pats, with a little luck, are busy celebrating another Super Bowl victory. Gronk is playing himself in the big screen version of the HBO series. The movie, produced by Mark Wahlberg, reunites the show's cast.
