Cheryl Fiandaca, who became the Boston Police Department spokeswoman in July 2012, has left her post. The former Channel 5 personality and ex-wife of former Boston Police Commissioner Bill Bratton says her last day will be Jan 3. Fiandaca confirmed that she's taken a job at Channel 7, where she'll be a general assignment and investigative reporter starting Jan. 13. Fiandaca got some national attention just last month when she represented the BPD at the Twitter IPO on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, joining actor Patrick Stewart (right), 9-year-old Vivienne Harr (center), and NYSE's Scott Cutler.
