In town for a screening of his new movie, “Need for Speed,” actor Aaron Paul couldn’t resist a visit to the Beacon Hill landmark Cheers, where, of course, everyone knew his name. The “Breaking Bad” star happily posed for photos and chatted with patrons at the bar. . . . Blue Inc. chef Jason Santos appeared on “The Talk” Thursday, making pork chops and applesauce to celebrate Florence Henderson’s 80th birthday. The “Brady Bunch” star was feted by several members of her TV family, including Barry Williams (Greg), Christopher Knight (Peter), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), and Susan Olsen (Cindy). . . .

Actress Kate Burton of ABC’s “Scandal” stopped by the State House to give Therese Murray, the Senate president, an award from the Massachusetts Cultural Council. New England Revolution players Kelyn Rowe and Kevin Alston hosted a little party for patients at Franciscan Hospital for Children in Brighton as part of American Heart Month. . . .
