While pitchers and catchers were reporting to spring training, Red Sox “ambassadors” fanned out on Valentine’s Day to deliver roses to Sox-loving senior citizens who may be yearning for spring and to hear the crack of the bat. With Wally and the World Series trophies in tow, Sox front-office folks visited seniors in Lynn, West Roxbury, and Dorchester.
