Macaulay Culkin’s pizza band to deliver in April

We happened to notice that the Pizza Underground — a Velvet Underground tribute band that modifies Lou Reed’s classics so that they’re about pizza — has booked a gig at Church of Boston on April 19. The act’s songs include “I’m Beginning to Eat the Slice,” inspired by “Beginning to See the Light,” and “Take a Bite of the Wild Slice,” for Reed’s “Walk on the Wild Side.” Worth mentioning is that one of the guys in the band is actor Macaulay Culkin, best known as the star of “Home Alone.” Yes, this is what he’s been up to.
