Mark Ruffalo talks clean water on the Cape

Mark Ruffalo will be around Monday, but not to shoot a movie. The actor best known for his roles in such films as “The Kids Are All Right” and “Shutter Island” is also an ardent environmentalist who’s created an organization, Water Defense, to advocate for safe drinking water. Monday, Ruffalo and WD’s chief scientist, Scott Smith, will be at Cape Cod Community College to talk about a new initiative to monitor and perhaps reduce pollution in Cape Cod waters. The talk at Cape Cod Community College’s Tilden Arts Center is open to the public.
