Shedding light on Newton art exhibition

The New Art Center in Newton hosted a reception the other night for “objects of desire,” an exhibit by its first artist-in-residence, Christina Pitsch (center). The New Hampshire artist’s objects include work made of porcelain and found items such as brass chandeliers. She put the pieces together while working at the New Art Center.
