Motti Lerner in town for Israeli Stage’s ‘Hard Love’

Playwright and screenwriter Motti Lerner was at the Goethe-Institut Boston on Sunday for two sold-out Israeli Stage performances of his play “Hard Love,” which is about the relationship between an ultra-Orthodox woman and a newly secular man. The production was put on in partnership with Combined Jewish Philanthropies’ israel360 program. Other names at the event included israel360 chairs Marina Rakhkin and Adam Eisenberg, Israeli Stage’s producing artistic director, Guy Ben-Aharon, and director Melia Bensussen.
