Daisy Buchanan’s to stay open come fall

Wednesday reports surfaced that longtime Newbury Street hangout Daisy Buchanan’s would close this fall because the building had been sold to real estate investment firm UrbanMeritage. Not so fast: George Regan, a rep for Daisy’s owner Joseph Cimino, said that the restaurant will continue to operate, despite the April sale. “The building has been sold, but Daisy’s is not closing,” he said. “They will continue to serve their hot dogs, hamburgers, and Chardonnay.”
