Dr. Dre reportedly set to buy Brady manse

Damian Dovarganes

It seems hip-hop artist and headphone mogul Dr. Dre appreciates the architecture of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen's LA mega-mansion, which is on the market for
$50 million. The furniture? Not so much. According to TMZ, Brady is close to selling the 18,700-square-foot mansion to Dre (inset). The house was offered fully furnished. But Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, is passing on the decor. The Brady-Bundchen compound is only slightly broken-in. They built from the ground up after buying the land in 2008. Construction took about five years. TMZ reports there were "multiple interested parties ready to put offers on the house," but Dre was the first to come in with a respectable offer. The deal is reportedly still in the works, but near completion. What will Dre, who is worth a reported $550 million, according to Forbes, be getting for his dollar? The 3.6-acre property features a stunning infinity pool, waterfall, and a professional home gym, of course. The luxe home in the gated Brentwood Country Estates is eco-friendly and includes eight bedrooms, a six-car garage, and a moat. The super couple will not be estate-less for long. Their Brookline manse will include five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a library with a balcony, and a wine cellar, so the bubbly will be perfectly chilled when neighbor Bob Kraft stops by for a visit, perhaps?
