Jennifer Aniston wants you to know that she’s just like you. Perhaps not exactly like you, but while in Cambridge on Friday checking the progress of her new hair product store, Living Proof, the star confessed that despite her hair icon status, her tresses can be problematic. “The thing that makes me chuckle is when I hear that my hair is so this, or so that,” she said. “My hair is always at odds with a brush and a hair dryer. To get my hair straight can be a struggle.” She’s part owner of Living Proof, which is based in Cambridge and sells hair products developed around formulas created by MIT scientists. She’s opening the first Living Proof store here in late August. The shop will also include what is being called a hair laboratory, where those seeking hair help can get advice from specialists. Given that she may be spending time in Boston to check on the progress of the Living Proof store, might Aniston and her tall drink of water fiance Justin Theroux start shopping for real estate in Boston? “Get a nice little Boston life going?” Aniston pondered. “It’s such a great little city. I wouldn’t rule that out.”
