In case you’re wondering, the tall guy who presented the Frank J. Selke Trophy to Bruins forward Patrice Bergeron at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas on Tuesday night was actor David Walton (left), who’s from Chestnut Hill. Walton stars in the NBC show “About a Boy.” Years ago, he admitted to us that he once practiced his Boston accent for a role by calling into 98.5 The Sports Hub and pretending to be “Dave From Meffa.”
