‘The Fault in Our Stars’ will have a Bollywood remake

The movie “The Fault in Our Stars,” which was adapted from the best-selling John Green novel inspired by the life of Quincy teenager Esther Earl , is already getting a Bollywood remake. Vijay Singh , CEO at Mumbai-based Fox Star Studios, told the Hollywood Reporter that expectations are high for a Hindi version of the story, and it could be produced soon. “The Fault in Our Stars” is about two teenage cancer patients who meet in a support group. Green wrote the story after getting to know Earl, whom he met at a Harry Potter fan convention. Earl was being treated for thyroid cancer at the time. She died in 2010.
