Alternative-pop princess Lorde and country-pop sweetheart Taylor Swift might have the most adorable friendship in music. After being spotted mingling at the Grammys, browsing trendy West Hollywood boutiques, and schmoozing at Swift's birthday party, the duo's most recent outing proves they're a couple of regular ladies who lunch. This week, the singers traded microphones for mixing bowls at a cooking class with chef/co-owner Jeanie Roland of Ella's Fine Food and Drink, a French/Asian fusion restaurant in Westerly, R.I. (Swift owns a massive oceanfront mansion nearby.) Each Instagrammed photos of their foodie foray, with Swift saying it was "the best and only cooking lesson" she'd ever had. We can only hope this collaboration in the kitchen will lead to the two spending some time together in the recording studio. Lorde recently told Capital FM Radio that her and Swift's seemingly contrasting styles could mesh well together. "Yeah, we are [different]," she said. "But I think the cool thing about Taylor is she is pretty willing to go a lot of places with music."
