Patriots quarterback Tom Brady gave everyone a good laugh Thursday, posting on his official Facebook page a photo of one of his old resumes. In the status update accompanying the photo, Brady, who was drafted in the sixth round — 199th overall — by the Patriots in 2000, admitted that he briefly worried he might need to find a new line of work. “Found my old resume! Really thought I was going to need this after the 5th round. #tbt” (#tbt is social-media shorthand for “throwback Thursday.”) The resume lists a summer internship at Merrill Lynch in Ann Arbor, Mich., and summer jobs at golf courses and with a home builder. Brady also highlights his captaincy of the University of Michigan football team, the team’s national championship in 1997, visits he made to a children’s hospital, and his work as a mentor. Of course, when his playing days are over, Brady will add the number of Super Bowls won, which at the moment is stalled at three.
