Boston Landmarks Orchestra gets new executive director

The Boston Landmarks Orchestra has a new leader. Jo Frances Meyer, who’s currently director of development at Rockport Music and previously spent seven years in the development office at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, will take over as executive director of Boston Landmarks Orchestra in January. She succeeds Harron Ellenson, who’s returning to her marketing firm, Harron & Associates. The orchestra was founded in 2001 by Charles Ansbacher to provide free concerts for everyone in the Boston area.
