Chris Rock is on the road promoting his new movie “Top Five,” and the former “Saturday Night Live” star stopped in Boston Tuesday. Rock, who wrote, directed, and stars in the film about a comedian-turned-movie star, talked to a full house at AMC Boston Common. The morning screening was hosted by JAM’N 94.5 personalities DJ Pup Dawg and Maverik. “Top Five,” which costars Rosario Dawson, opens Friday. . . . Celebrated artist Kara Walker paid a visit to Harvard’s Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study and talked about her life and work and the 40-foot-tall female sphinx she made using blocks of white sugar. The piece is installed at the Domino Sugar Refinery in Brooklyn, N.Y. . . . Uzo Aduba, of “Orange Is the New Black,” was in town Tuesday for a spa day. The Medfield native and a group of friends received massages and facials at G2O Spa & Salon.
