Boston-born and Harvard-educated writer-director Andrew Bujalski screened his new film, “Results,” at SXSW in Austin, Texas, on Saturday night. Joining him onstage were two of the actresses in the comedy, Constance Zimmer and Brooklyn Decker.

The film stars Guy Pearce and Cobie Smulders as characters in the personal training biz. It was produced by Burn Later Productions, run by locals Paul Bernon and Sam Slater.

Also at SXSW were Marshfield’s Steve and Nancy Carell, who screened their TBS cop comedy “Angie Tribeca,” which stars another Harvard grad, Rashida Jones. Steve told the premiere crowd, according to Variety, “I hadn’t seen anything like this, and it’s really, really stupid.” We love that Jones’s Angie Tribeca character has a partner named Jay Geils, played by Hayes MacArthur, of “Go On” and “Perfect Couples.”
