Make-A-Wish celebrates making wishes come true

Dreams do come true. Just ask the kids who attended Saturday’s Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island gala at the InterContinental Boston. Luke Sclater-Booth, 14, had wanted to appear on Peter Miller’s NBC Sports show, “Bass2Billfish With Peter Miller,” and he did. And Abby Bala, 11, wanted to decorate a cake with Duff Goldman, of the Food Network’s “Ace of Cakes,” and she did too. The four were reunited at Saturday’s event, which was hosted by Liz Brunner.
