Perkins School for the Blind gala draws a crowd

There was no shortage of familiar faces at the annual gala for the Perkins School for the Blind, including Mass Eye & Ear CEO John Fernandez, Dunkin’ Brands CEO Nigel Travis and wife Joanna, Staples founder Tom Stemberg and wife Katherine Chapman, philanthropists Elena and Tom Matlack, Tufts Health Plan CEO James Roosevelt, former Celtic Leon Powe, “Friends” producer Kevin Bright and wife Claudia, Maureen and Joe Fico of USI Insurance Services, and Perkins School for the Blind board trustee chair Corinne Grousbeck with her daughter Kelsey and son Campbell, a Perkins alum. The evening’s entertainment was provided by Perkins alum Ellis Hall, who graduated from the school 45 years ago.
