Foodies flock to ‘Let’s Talk About Food’
The event is called “Let’s Talk About Food,” and that’s just what people did in Copley Square Saturday. The culinary confab, held this year as part of HUBweek, was curated by Louisa Kasdon and featured chefs Michael Leviton, Jody Adams, Sara Jenkins, and Bun Lai, as well as author and James Beard Award winner Marion Nestle, Legal Seafood CEO Roger Berkowitz, and Monterey Bay Aquarium boss Sheila Bowman, among many others. Above, Adams and chef Eric Brennan warmed their hands at a meatball competition during the event. HUBweek, a festival intended to showcase the region’s dominance in science, art, and technology, is founded by The Boston Globe, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, and Massachusetts General Hospital.
