Burlington-bred actress/writer/comedian Amy Poehler will join a long list of Tinseltown luminaries Thursday when she gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. (Her homies who can’t make it to LA can watch live at www.walkoffame.com.) The ceremony will be emceed by Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president Leron Gubler, and Poehler’s pals, former “SNL” castmate Rashida Jones, and “Parks and Recreation” co-creator Mike Schur, will make a few remarks. The honor is forever, as the Walk of Fame organizers made clear when people questioned whether Bill Cosby’s star will be removed. “Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Gubler said in a statement. “Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”
