Jennifer Lawrence was in New York over the weekend to screen her new movie, "Joy," which was filmed around Massachusetts last winter. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lawrence said during a screening Q&A that she signed up to star in the project because "I got to play a woman across four generations, which is incredible for an actor." Lawrence's entrepreneur character in the film was inspired by Joy Mangano, who invented the Miracle Mop. Filming locations included Haverhill and Lynn. The movie's official release date is Christmas.
