The Jan. 4 issue of The New Yorker includes a profile of “Saturday Night Live” star Leslie Jones that includes some details about her time in Boston filming the reboot of “Ghostbusters.” The story says that while in town, Jones developed a close friendship with costar and fellow “SNL” player Kate McKinnon. “She had me walking everywhere — all around Boston, looking at old-fashioned doors and [expletive],” Jones says in the story. “I hated it at first, but then I really got into it.” Jones, meanwhile, tweeted some praise for another Boston movie, “Spotlight,” over the weekend. “Ok watching a movie called spotlight with Michael Keaton it’s so good yo!!” she tweeted Sunday. “Omg guys this movie is excellent! Everyone is really good at their role!” “Ghostbusters,” directed by Paul Feig, will be out next summer.
