The Kennedy family just got a little bigger. US Representative Joseph P. Kennedy III took to Twitter Tuesday to share the happy news that he and his wife, Lauren, are new parents.

“Lauren and I are happy to announce that our daughter Eleanor (Ellie) arrived today! Grateful for love and support!”

The congressman posted a longer note on Facebook, adding that their dog, Banjo, “remains very skeptical of what this means for his social media fame.”
