Timing is everything, and the folks at Funny Or Die seem to understand that. Fresh off Donald Trump’s win in the Republican primary in New Hampshire, the humor website released a 50-minute mockumentary of sorts starring Johnny Depp as The Donald. Called “The Art of the Deal,” the movie is a comic riff on Trump’s 1987 best-selling book of the same name. Depp, who wore a bald cap as Whitey Bulger in “Black Mass,” has the copper-colored hair of an orangutan — if an orangutan had a comb-over — in the Funny Or Die flick. With an intro from director Ron Howard, the movie also stars Patton Oswalt as Merv Griffin, Jack McBrayer as Der Scutt (Trump’s architect), Alfred Molina as Jerry Schrager, Henry Winkler as former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, Michaela Watkins as Ivana Trump, as well as Andy Richter, Stephen Merchant, ’80s icons ALF, and Kenny Loggins, who sings “The Art of the Deal” theme song.
