The brothers Wahlberg are eyeing their old neighborhood for the next location of their burgeoning burger empire. Paul Wahlberg says he and Donnie and Mark have a deal to open a Wahlburgers in Dorchester, though probably not for another year, at least. The 5,000-square-foot restaurant would be part of the massive new development proposed for South Bay. “We’re going home,” said chef Paul. There are currently Wahlburgers open in Hingham, Lynnfield, and on Brookline Avenue near Fenway Park, as well as Toronto and Coney Island. More are set to open in Orlando, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Las Vegas, and on Long Island. Wahlburgers is also the subject of an A&E reality show, the new season of which debuts March 9.
