There were reports Tuesday that Kelly Ripa was upset — livid, actually — that she’d been kept in the dark about Michael Strahan’s departure from “Live With Kelly and Michael.” They’re true, apparently. Ripa, who was only told that Strahan is leaving “Live” for a full-time gig at “Good Morning America” moments before the news was shared with the rest of us Tuesday, didn’t show up for work Wednesday. Instead, Strahan was joined on the “Live” set by former “SNL” cast member Ana Gasteyer. According to TMZ, Ripa feels “disrespected and humiliated” that she wasn’t told about Strahan’s sooner. Strahan began Wednesday’s show with a grin. “I’ve been in the news lately,” said the former New York Giants star, who succeeded Regis Philbin four year ago. “I’m leaving this show. And I’m going over to ‘GMA’ full time.” He then thanked the audience and the staff. “I’m always available to guest cohost if I get a call,” he said.
