Weymouth’s own Rob Corddry is working on a live-action comedy pilot for Adult Swim, the cable network announced. “The Hindenburg Explodes!” is a 15-minute program Corddry created with Josh Perilo and Jonathan Stern. “On May 6, 1937, the infamous Hindenburg zeppelin made its final voyage from Nazi Germany to New Jersey, where it exploded over a landing field,” says the press release. “’The Hindenburg Explodes!’ follows that flight and its unusual crew and passengers.” It doesn’t sound all that funny, but we trust Corddry, whose credits include “Ballers,” “Childrens Hospital,” “Hot Tub Time Machine,” and “The Daily Show With Jon Stewart.”
