One of Anton Yelchin’s final roles was in a movie that was filmed in Massachusetts. The 27-year-old actor, who died tragically in a freak car accident Sunday, had a key role in the forthcoming film “Thoroughbred,” which stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Olivia Cooke.
Most of the filming of “Thoroughbred” was done at The Oaks, a Georgian Revival mansion in Cohasset. Other scenes were shot in Tewksbury, Scituate, Westwood, Wellesley, and elsewhere in Cohasset. The movie was written and directed by Cory Finley, and is slated to be released next year.Names can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Follow Emily Sweeney on Twitter @emilysweeney.
