Looks like Ben Affleck’s film “Live By Night” will be released earlier than we expected: Variety reports that Warner Bros. has pushed the release date forward nine months to Jan. 13, 2017. The Prohibition-era crime drama, based on Dorchester native Dennis Lehane’s 2012 novel of the same name, stars Elle Fanning, Scott Eastwood, Danny Coughlin, Zoe Saldana, Sienna Miller, and, of course, Mr. Affleck himself. Other familiar faces round out the cast, including our favorite Brat Packer (and West Roxbury native) Anthony Michael Hall, Oscar winner Chris Cooper, and Max Casella (a.k.a. Vinnie Delpino from “Doogie Howser, M.D.”). Some scenes of the movie were shot in Lawrence and the North End.
