Famous folks celebrate the Fourth on Nantucket

Who spent the holiday weekend on Nantucket? Lots of folks. Our sources tell us entertainment news guy Billy Bush was there, and director Woody Allen and actor James Franco were also spotted on the island.

The Daily Mail also reported that “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” star Mariska Hargitay and her actor hubby, Peter Hermann, took part in some patriotic festivities along with “Good Morning America” host George Stephanopoulos and his wife, Ali Wentworth.

Hargitay posted some Instagram photos of herself decked out in red, white, and blue, and wearing an oversize Uncle Sam hat.

Ok, here's the situation: I'm working as a door man at one really fancy club on the Nantucket island, MA. I already knew today is going to be a very busy day, so at one moment I stopped letting people inside the club. And then, one group of 7 approaches, and I tell them automatically we're full. This girl tells me, oh but you want us inside. I responded I'm not really sure about it, I will consider it in 15 minutes, and asked them to form a line. After 5-10 minutes of them standing outside the bar I notice a guy in the group, leaned on the wall, with a cap, and he looked very suspicious to me, so I started scanning him. Suddenly I realized it was James Franco. At that moment somebody asked me what should they do to let them inside, and then he turned to me smiled and said "will a photo be ok?" Man.
