Comedian Louis C.K. is at it again: In two days, he’s announced two secret shows in the Boston area. This time, the Newton native is going to appear at the Somerville Theatre.

Fans who are on C.K.’s e-mail mailing list were given notice about it around 1 p.m., and the tickets, which were priced at $30/each and available online, sold out in less than an hour.

Tuesday night, he did a surprise show at the Paradise. Those tickets had to be bought in person, yet still went quite quickly, presumably as people sprinted across the city to get there.

In 2014, C.K. did three pop-up shows at the Somerville Theatre.

If you’re disappointed that you missed this one, perhaps there’s another chance in August. C.K. has a show in Springfield on Aug. 6, but his next show after that isn’t scheduled until Aug. 11, when he begins his U.K. leg of the tour.

Maybe he’ll stick around and surprise us again? Or maybe he’ll just fly straight to England and sleep off the jet lag.
