Breaking up is hard to do. Just ask Calvin Harris, who went on a Twitter rant Wednesday after his ex, Taylor Swift, took credit for writing the lyrics to his summer hit “This is What You Came For.”
Swift’s rep confirmed to People.com Wednesday that she co-wrote the song with Harris using the alias, Nils Sjoberg. The admission apparently upset Harris beause he then sent a series of angry tweets. Harris said that Swift had wanted to keep the collaboration secret.
‘‘Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though,’’ he tweeted.

Harris and Swift announced last month that they’d broken up after 15 months together.
The Scottish DJ also took aim at Swift’s new and quite-serious relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston: ‘‘I figure if you’re happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do.’’
Harris speculated that Swift is looking for ‘‘someone new to try and bury like Katy,’’ referring to pop star Katy Perry, with whom Swift was once friendly but had a falling out with. Swift’s song ‘‘Bad Blood’’ is rumored to be about her failed friendship with Perry.
‘‘I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it,’’ Harris tweeted. ‘‘Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you’ve earned a great one.’’
