Patriots owner Robert Kraft ponied up some serious dough at Big Papi’s party celebrating the David Ortiz Children’s Fund. Kraft not only made a $100,000 donation to the nonprofit, he also dropped $12,000 on a Papi-autographed Fender guitar during the evening’s live auction. In an impromptu talk at the event, held Monday at the Park Plaza Hotel, Kraft called Ortiz the Tom Brady of the Red Sox, and said he’d waited his whole life to see the Sox win the World Series and it didn’t happen until Ortiz showed up.
