Restaurateurs Donato Frattaroli and his son Donato Jr. recently celebrated the grand opening of Il Molo in the North End. The father-and-son team hosted a party that was attended by many area chefs, including Todd Winer of Pastoral, Tony Susi of Capo, Louis DiBiccari of Tavern Road, and Dante de Magistris . . . . Lydia Shire's tag sale attracted a large crowd on Saturday, as several hundred people showed up at her Weston home for the event. "In our opinion, the big sellers were the collection of rare golliwoggs, the dreamstone panel, butcher diagrams, cookbooks, and cookware," said Melissa Dantz-Zerbel, co-owner of Trilogy Estate Sales. How much did the buyers pay for that stuff? Alas, Dantz-Zerbel wouldn't say. "We as a rule do not disclose sold prices," she said. . . . In other news, actress Meg Ryan was seen dining at Scampo over the weekend, and hip-hop artist Wyclef Jean was in town Monday night for the Remy Producers Series at Venu.
