Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford plans to join the members of Kiss — Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer — on their fan cruise in November. Whitford is scheduled to perform with his other band, Whitford/St. Holmes, on the Kiss cruise ship, which will depart from Miami Nov. 4 and sail to Cozumel and Grand Cayman, and return on Nov. 9. This will be Kiss’s sixth fan cruise, and it’s already sold out. Fans who board the ship will get to participate in games and activities with members of the band (i.e. “Paul Stanley’s Pizza Contest” and “Name That Solo With Tommy Thayer”) and see live performances by Skid Row, Enuff Z’Nuff, and other rock bands, along with Whitford/St. Holmes. The members of Aerosmith are staying busy while the Boston band is on temporary hiatus. Bassist Tom Hamilton is playing shows with the reconstituted Thin Lizzy, and guitarist Joe Perry recorded and toured with Alice Cooper and actor Johnny Depp in Hollywood Vampires.
