Former WEEI host Mike “Mikey” Adams has a new job. Adams, who manned the mike from 6-10 p.m. at WEEI for 10 years before he was abruptly laid off last June, has been hired by Binnie Media to host an afternoon drive program that’ll air starting next month on Binnie Media’s Frank-FM stations. (They include 106.3 FM in Nashua, 107.5 FM in Portland, Maine, and 105.5 FM in Rockland, Maine.) The show will feature music, humor, and calls from listeners. “We are thrilled to have Mike join Frank-FM and Binnie Media. His sense of humor and his love of music will make the show a fun place to be for listeners. He’s already been churning out ideas,” Lee Kinberg, president of Binnie Media, said in a statement.
