Wellesley College Provost Andrew Shennan, Davis Museum Director Lisa Fischman, and Wellesley College President Dr. Paula Johnson attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday to celebrate the opening of the newly reinstalled galleries at the Davis Museum. Located on the campus of the college, and featuring artwork by Alexander Calder, Auguste Rodin, Willem De Kooning, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol (among others), the museum has more than doubled the number of works of art that are on view, from approximately 300 to more than 620 objects.
