Cher is coming to Boston for Hillary

The beat goes on for Cher, who’s coming back around to Boston for another Hillary Clinton fund-raiser, this one Nov. 4.

If you’ve taken a look at the singer’s Twitter feed — where she regularly refers to Donald Trump with a toilet emoji — you know she’s a big supporter of the Democratic presidential candidate. In August, Cher performed at a Clinton fund-raiser in Provincetown.

The event was posted Thursday on Clinton’s website, but it’s not clear if the candidate herself will be attending. Our guess is she’ll be concentrating her efforts in less blue states in the days before the election. Sorry to dash your hopes for an “I Got You Babe” duet.

The location for the concert hasn’t been announced, but it’ll run two hours — from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. — and tickets started at $45, but those sold out by noon Thursday. If you’re willing to shell out $5,000, you can attend a reception with Cher.

Clinton has been enlisting loads of celebrities lately. In addition to Cher, who’s scheduled to perform at a campaign event Oct. 30 in Michigan, Jay Z, Jon Bon Jovi, Katy Perry, and The National are all also performing in the days leading up to Nov. 8.
