Because Tom Brady grew up in nearby San Mateo, Calif., the Patriots had plenty of fans cheering for them at the game against the 49ers Sunday — and that’s not including the bevy of Boston chefs who made the trip to San Francisco. Turns out Michelin-starred chef Michael Mina (second from right) hosts a serious tailgate party before 49ers home games, and this week he invited a few chefs from Boston to join him, including (from left) Ken Oringer (Toro, Coppa, Uni), Jay Hajj (Mike’s City Diner), Todd English (Figs), and Ming Tsai (Blue Ginger, Blue Dragon). Each served up a dish from their home turf. Mina is making nice with Hub chefs in part because he just opened PABU Boston on Franklin Street.
