Nancy Kerrigan was at the Boston Children’s Museum on Wednesday to officially open Snowmazing!, an indoor “sock skating” rink where kids can slide around on a synthetic ice surface. Kerrigan was joined by Carole Charnow, the museum’s president and CEO, and some elves at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The grand opening is Dec. 2 and it will be open through February school vacation week. . . . Actor Brendan Burke from Netflix’s “Orange Is the New Black” was spotted with his mother Wednesday afternoon at Legal on the Mystic. We hear they dined on fish and chips and grilled trout. . . . Amber Portwood from the MTV series “Teen Mom OG” was seen at Kowloon with her fiance, Matt Baier, and an entourage of friends enjoying some Saugus wings, pu pu platters, and sushi. . . . Former New England Patriot Troy Brown was in Brighton on Monday evening visiting the Oak Square branch of the YMCA of Greater Boston, where he talked to the kids about leadership skills and healthy living habits.
