Rob Gronkowski appears to be recovering well after his back surgery. On Saturday night, the injured Patriots tight end was seen dining out at the newly-opened GuyFieri’s Foxwoods Kitchen + Bar. When Fieri found out Gronk was there, he FaceTimed the All Pro to see how the meal was going. We’re told that Gronk was accompanied by his brothers and friends and they noshed on Fieri’s trash can nachos and wings.
Hard to believe that more than a week has passed since Gronk went under the knife. On Dec. 2, he shared a video on Instagram from his first day of rehab. In the video, Gronk is seen walking slowly down a corridor (with the help of a walker) after his operation, and he turns to the camera and jokingly says, “Dance floor tomorrow night, here I come!” He also incorporated some inspirational song lyrics into the photo caption: “Can’t nobody hold me down . . . Oo no I got to keep on movin.”
We don’t know if Gronk needed any assistance walking around Foxwoods, but we’re told he appeared to be in good spirits at Fieri’s restaurant. And we’re glad to see nobody’s holdin’ him down.
