Robert Kraft has a Zelig-like quality, doesn’t he?

The Patriots owner has been showing up everywhere lately, from the Golden Globe Awards to Vanity Fair’s Oscars party to Air Force One to the Forbes list of the wealthiest humans.

Over the weekend, the Pats poobah celebrated Elton John’s 70th birthday at a star-studded affair at Red Studios Hollywood. The crowd included assorted VIPs such as song-and-dance man Neil Patrick Harris, “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm, and actor Rob Lowe, whose character on “The West Wing” would no doubt have loathed Kraft’s pal President Trump.

The party included performances by Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, and Ryan Adams, who delivered a solo acoustic version of Sir Elton’s classic “Rocket Man,” which some in the audience found mesmerizing.

Kraft has been friends with Elton John for years. In 2003, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer played at a party celebrating Robert and Myra Kraft’s 40th anniversary. And the night before the Super Bowl in Houston last month, the Pats owner hosted a small party at his hotel and John played a few tunes.
