Deval and Diane Patrick were honored at the Discovering Justice Civic Education Gala on Wednesday night. The event was co-chaired by Joshua Levy and Rachel Rock, Mo and Stacy Cowan, Kate and Ben Taylor , along with honorary co-chairs Kitty and Michael Dukakis, Yo-Yo Ma and Jill Hornor, and Caroline and James Taylor. Jim Braude of WGBH’s Boston Public Radio served as the emcee.
The evening began with a VIP reception hosted by Amy and Joshua Boger at their Fan Pier penthouse, and notable guests included Emiley and Keith Lockhart, Ben Zander, and Barbara Lynch.
The gala itself was held at the John Joseph Moakley Courthouse next door, and Boston Public Schools Superintendent Tommy Chang and city Councilors Tito Jackson and Matt O’Malley were among the more than 500 guests in attendance.
