WCVB chief meteorologist Harvey Leonard had a special milestone to celebrate this week. Anchors Ed Harding and Maria Stephanos and sports anchor Mike Lynch took part in the festivities of feting “Boston’s Dean of Meteorology” because Tuesday marked his 40th year on Boston TV. Leonard received several on-air tributes as well as cake and balloons at the end of the 6 p.m. newscast.

In other news, Justin Bourke recently left a station in San Antonio to join the news team at WHDH-TV (Channel 7). Bourke turned to Facebook to pen a sweet goodbye to viewers in the Lone Star State, which included this: “I’m gonna go be that guy who accidentally says ‘y’all’ on Boston TV.”

The Berkowitz brothers’ “Pillow Talk Show,” which premiered on NESN.com in February, is back with a new episode. The latest segment, directed by Ben Berkowitz, shows host Max Berkowitz interviewing Miami Dolphins wide receiver Rashawn Scott and other pro athletes in bed (yes, it’s true — that’s why it’s called “Pillow Talk”). Our favorite guest by far was Willie Reed of the Miami Heat, who talked openly about his love of Celtics dynamo Isaiah Thomas and his respect for Boston fans — and he wasn’t even being sarcastic.

“Isaiah’s great. . . . What he’s doing for the city of Boston is truly amazing,” said Reed. “I think the Boston fans are great, and they’re very passionate about their team, and they always have been . . . so that’s something special they have there in Boston.”
