Congratulations to Tom Ashbrook, host of WBUR’s “On Point,” who got hitched over the weekend. Ashbook and Cathryn Ann Clüver, executive director of the Future of Diplomacy Project at the Harvard’s Kennedy School, were married Saturday at the Gropius House in Lincoln.

According to the couple’s wedding announcement in Sunday’s New York Times, Cluver, who’s 41, and Ashbrook, 61, met in March 2016 after she tweeted about an episode on “On Point” related to Germany’s handling of refugees, which prompted Ashbrook to suggest they meet for lunch.

Ashbrook’s first wife, with whom he had three children, died in 2014. Last month, he took a leave from “On Point” to undergo vascular surgery. He’s since returned to work.
