Representative Seth Moulton and Liz Boardman (right) arrived for the annual John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award.

Seth Moulton is off the market.

The Democratic congressman from Marblehead announced on Twitter Friday that he’s engaged.

He followed that a few minutes later with a picture with his fiancee, whom he ID’d as Liz Boardman, his girlfriend “of 2+ years.”

Moulton, a 38-year-old Harvard grad and former Marine Corps officer, ranked as one of Washington, DC’s “most beautiful people,” according to TheHill.com. His staff didn’t have much to say except that Moulton and Boardman live in Salem and there are no wedding plans yet.

“We are all very excited for them!” press secretary Matt Corridoni said in an email.

Boardman is a senior client partner at the LA-based executive search firm Korn Ferry, where she does talent consulting, executive searches, and organizational assessments for national and global sports leagues, teams, and brands, according to the firm’s website. She works out of the company’s New York office.

Boardman received her B.A. from Georgetown -- where she played varsity field hockey -- and an M.A. in Leadership from Harvard, where she received the Harvard Graduate School of Education’s Leadership in Education Award and Merit Scholarship.

Perhaps we should have seen this coming. Moulton recently added Boardman’s name to the deed of his condo in Salem. And although she doesn’t show up anywhere on his Twitter account, Boardman frequently uses hers to flack for the congressman, sometimes retweeting his tweets and sometimes promoting his media or campaign appearances.

Moulton’s announcement met with hundreds of enthusiastic congratulations on Twitter and a few responses from folks who see a bright future for the couple. (There’s been some speculation that Moulton could, sooner or later, become a presidential candidate.)
