On the two-year anniversary of her death, a video of Bobbi Kristina Brown singing Adele’s “Someone Like You” was posted online.
The black-and-white clip was posted on the Instagram page of the LA-based Bobbi Kristina Serenity House, an organization founded by Bobbi Kristina’s father, New Edition singer and Roxbury native Bobby Brown, to help victims of domestic violence.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of Brown and his late, ex-wife Whitney Houston, was just 22 years old when she died. The circumstances were eerily similar to her mother’s death: She was found unresponsive in a bathtub in the suburban Atlanta home she shared with then-boyfriend Nick Gordon.
Gordon was later found legally responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s death and ordered to pay more than $36 million to the family. He was back in the news last month after his arrest for allegedly beating up his new girlfriend.
