If South End residents glimpse someone who looks like Amy Schumer, it’s a good bet it’s her.
The actress and comedian will be in the neighborhood next week filming scenes for “I Feel Pretty,” a new comedy costarring Emily Ratajkowski and Michelle Williams.
Jamie Fox and Svetla Tzenova, presidents of the Union Park Neighborhood Association, sent a flier to residents alerting them that the Schumer flick will be filming Monday, between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., in two Tremont Street restaurants near Union Park. Streets won’t be closed, but passersby may be asked to pause momentarily while cameras roll.
And parking may prove problematic. The flier states that the production company will be parking its trucks in metered spaces on Tremont Street, and a catering truck will occupy a space or spaces by St. John Church on Union Park Street.
“I Feel Pretty,” directed by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein — they also wrote the screenplay — is about a young woman, played by Schumer, who hits her head while falling off an exercise bike and suddenly feels bold and beautiful. Williams, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in “Manchester by the Sea,” plays Schumer’s boss at a cosmetics company.
